In-House Competition and Routines:

You may have noticed that our gymnasts have been busy over the last few weeks putting some skills into sequences across the apparatus. These are the building blocks of our 2024 routines!

Routines are a great way for gymnasts to consolidate their skills and build endurance, as well as show off what they have been learning in class

The most exciting part? All gymnasts are invited to showcase their routines at our upcoming in-house competitions to be held in September and October!

What is the In-House Competition About?
Our inaugural in-house competitions allow our EduGym and UrbanGym gymnasts to challenge themselves in a supportive environment. Gymnasts will perform routines or participate in challenge circuits in front of our friendly judges. All participants receive a medal on the day, based on their performance:

EduGym

  • Perform routines across the four apparatus; Vault, Uneven Bars, Beam and Floor

  • Receive a banded medal based on your performance on the day

UrbanGym

  • Challenge yourself across three key components: time trial obstacle course, freestyle performance circuit and strength challenge

  • Receive a banded medal based on your performance on the day

Why an In-House Competition?
Our EduGym and UrbanGym gymnasts work incredibly hard mastering both the small and large progressions throughout the year and deserve an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate their achievements!

We are passionate about empowering our participants with movement, as well as providing them with positive performance opportunities - a relaxed in house event is the perfect way to celebrate our awesome gymnasts in a familiar environment!
